Any chance I can get to talk about the differences between biologists
and engineers, I will do it! Neither is superior to the other, I've just noticed that they approach problems differently.
Engineers' main goal is to SOLVE PROBLEMS while biologists tend to be
empirical scientists in the truest sense and whose discoveries can be applied toward solving problems.
I feature the book Microcosmos and start talking about the book Microcosm
(but was interrupted--never fear, I will get back to it very soon!)
While I don't much feel like writing at this moment as we found
our dog dead this morning (she was old and ill and truly had a full life with us), I just wanted to let you know that I posted
a review of the book called Chasing Science: Science as a Spectator Sport by Frederik Pohl. What he did in his travels is something of a dream for me. I also discuss another ultimate science outreach
dream in this poorly lit video. Regardless, Enjoy!
I will film my
review of Carl Zimmer's book Microcosm (so great) as soon as I am less heavy hearted. Until next time,
